.....I'm feeling a lot of Sepia love lately so will probably paint it Brown :P
Oh come on, Darren - it needs to be a "slap in your face" colour, and I mean in a good way (not sepia poo.. )! :angel9:

@Barry: brilliant work as ever, congratulations on another magnificient built!

Definitely go for brown! You could call the car Winnie, as in Winnie the Poo(h)!

Any temptation to go IROC style Darren?

I know it’s not the same, but have you ever read the build thread on Pelican for Matteo’s Blue Meanie? Kind of IROC tribute but with a 6 speed box and a 3.8 - interesting build (but wheels were too big IMHO).

This IROC has some history: https://www.autoevolution.com/news/pabl ... 57266.html

He has told us 5 times.
Got a white one, got a red one, so Blue must be next.

.....well I certainly have the right tail for one!

When the pain of my 'never again' orange build subsided and I got the itch again I two ideas in mind....one is a SWB and the other was to go wide....

....for me the prettiest of all the wide cars is the 2.8RSR but that would have been another long hood.......whilst an IROC car was a consideration, seeing Peter Lovett's 3.0RS up close turned me towards the model and with it being the last naturally aspirated MFI road-going cum race car decided this was the one I'd build if I ever got the chance...3.0RSR too lairy for me.

Other than my first project I've never actually properly looked for a vehicle and have been very lucky.....when the C3 came my way it seemed the perfect core to base it on one of the six RHD 74 RS's :)

No update as such just a few gratuitous shots of curves prior to the shell being stripped and painted in epoxy....

....it'll be a while before the car is assembled again so please excuse my indulgence....
