It's been a long time since I've coveted an early 911 more than this one. And it's still only a shell.
A RHD, 1970 'S' in that colour? Wonderful.
With Barry's expertise and your evident pursuit of originality, you've done a fine job Richard, I commend you. I look forward to seeing more.

Barry mentioned your shell was finished when i went to see him this morning. I thought i would pop down to DC and drool but then he told me you collected in yesterday

booo
looks stunning. Mine is the next 911 into DC queue after the Ferrari they are doing, hopefully it will be there before christmas. Turnaround on your car seems to have been very quick but that may just be an optical illusion caused by my lack of attention - It only seems a couple of months ago i was at DC and your bare shell was there waiting for the start of the priming and painting......

Thanks all for the kind comments.
I've taken a few higher quality pics, including some details of textures and finishes for those who asked.
For example:

Almost forgot... Cost to get to this point (not including initial purchase of the car):
£47,201

I know, corruption is rife.
Next thing you know I'll be buying you a drink. Are you going to the Orange Tree?
