Thank you, yes it is . Can't wait to see owners and car(s?) at CLM .

Had a busy week. I have rebuilt the brake calipers and fitted them, filled the system with fluid and bled them, strange yesterday I had a pedal but today nothing. I will have a go again tomorrow and see what happens. I have had to paint my S calipers silver to make them some way presentable, I will look for a better core set to restore and fit at a later date.





I have checked all of the wiring and every thing works.

I have also fitted most of the interior, I have reused my old carpet set as it was new only a few years ago. Most of its gone ok.

A little more progress today. Built up the restored seat bases. These took alot longer than I thourght.





Then I fitted the drivers seat, I am going to leave the passengers seat until we have the rear screen in.



The head rests have been chnged from the peanut type to the correct D shape head rest. Thanks for James for sorting this.

Wow. Those headrests look fantastic. Southbound and Alan at canfords did a stunning job as usual. Alan re-anodized the legs and Southbound repainted and retrimmed them in the last of their original vinyl material to match Johns seats.

I fitted my new drivers seat at the weekend with your old peanut headrest. I then refitted it properly with help and tools from Tim. I've had the peanut recovered in leather to match my seat. I'd better take and post some pics to update my seat thread.

Today the car finally got back onto its own feet, well wheels. The cold start mechanism wasn’t working so thanks to a little tip from the sage of the lakes I fixed that and it starts just great, this was the first start of the day. Anyway today it moved for the very first time. (click to play video)



You can really feel the LSD when turning the car around, it scrubs the rear tyres, looking forward to see how it drives in anger.
