I had to take the 356 today to pick up a belt for my discovery. Unfortunately despite eurocarparts saying they had one in Northampton when I got there they couldn't find it!!! That was after taking payment. Next they were useless aboi helping me find another place that had one but Mrs B was about to reserve one in Coventry. The only good bit about that was driving off the M1 onto the M45 and opening the throttle. Got the belt from Coventry. Got home after 3 hours to try and fit only to find the tensioner had actually gone

As I've commited (to my self) that I need to take both 914 cars to the 50th at Brooklands I had to recommission them both.
Starting with the 914/6 race car I've re fitted the headlights and motors which have been absent for at least 15 years--Lighness always wins races !!
Will start on the Crayford RHD once the six is off the ramp.
So glad I'm now retired otherwise I wouldn't find the time.
cheers
Ian

Brilliant!
Once I know that the Hillclimb 911 still works for the next couple of week-ends, I must pull our 914/6 out and fix the clutch issue.
It's been stuck in the back of the garage for too long...…………
That will be 3 off to Brooklands!

Katharine got acquainted with the Boxster today - she likes it which is good considering it’s hers!

See that sounds like a normal sentence, but coming from Thomas,
I never know whether that is some sort of deviant euphemism

Went to a TIPEC meeting on Sunday for Northern regions. Started at a pub on the Leeds ring road, and then on to Performance Porsche Klasssiker in Brighouse. Apparently around 150 cars in total. Great turn out and lots of friendly enthusiasts.

Still got the same problem. The bite moves up/dn a bit but it still has strong stopping power. I have received the new master cylinder and will fit but might take a while so will probably have to take the 912 out
