Very nice to meet several DDK'rs today!
Clive, Spit, Hashmann, even Majordad and I think a few others too.
What a great weekend.
The 911 felt so very SLOW and seemed to wiegh about 1000 tons compared to my 15 years with the Lola.

Loved every moment of the car, the venue and the people.

And the RAIN!

Fantastic weekend with great people. Caffeine and machine meet is always fun and thankgod they have a tent  . I was impressed with the motorhub too . Additional on Saturday Managed to drive some iconic Harry’s garage roads which I’ve been wanting to do for a while .

A lovely Sunday morning drive to Shelsay and those rally cars going up the hill 8)

With the huge downpour unfortunately didn’t get a chance to get to speak to the boys hill climbing . Huge thanks to Clive . Gareth and Ian for organising.

Almost didn’t manage to leave Shelsay as I couldn’t get up the lip onto the road .. luckily bottom gate was open once we moved the tape

Had a lovely Sunday lunch on way home and then biblical rain … at least the journey home was relatively clear of somewhat slow

That Firenza with the 5.0 Can Am engine sounded amazing! We were near the start when it took off and I actually felt my eardrums vibrating in my head!

Good to see some of the DDK cars in the metal, shame I didn’t get to say hello to any of you. The weather was too much for my kids (but they did fleece me in the mode shop first - standard).

Our Jonathan won the class with a stonking run.
Great weekend, the NASCARS did it for me esp the 55 Chevy.

Hope to get an entry for next year and on decent tyres...

Although I spent no time with the DDK Weekend due to being at Shelsley I certainly felt part of it.
It was DDK's visit to the hill that made me want to get the 911 there after 2 decades since I stopped hillclimbing it. 8)

It is a car that just keeps on giving over the last 37 years. :drunken:
