It was mine JB - clutch cable seemed to ping and then I lost some pedal & couldn’t get gears.
Barry readjusted it & we checked at pedal box end then it got us here. Seems to be fixed!
Sorry Rich wrong green and I forgot that you also kept the sugar scoops.
Glad you sorted it out.
Seems unlikely that it is the clutch cable as your car is recently restored but if it is then this might amuse you or at least show you some pictures

Good and bad news. The TdF is starting this weekend in Lille then working its way around to Rouen. Please check your return routes as there maybe some road closures. if you are a fan you might be able to catch 5 seconds of a peleton zooming past!

Nice to meet up at Mulsanne with others who are staying elsewhere
It’s now too hot for anything so watching the racing from the campsite
Last to leave Mulsanne after our meet up
Dusty dusty
Campsite food and drinks hall
Campsite beer garden overlooking the track

Bet you're glad of a bar and food on site so you don't have to bother moving around too much in the heat!

It's going to be a testing race for all the cars involved. Probably see who is running their engines a bit too hot!

Hope you’re all having a great (hot) time down in Le Mans - but for those of us who couldn’t get there, there’s a live Peter Auto feed available at

On the right Mr Stretch. On the left Pat the 80 year old who made the journey in his Pagoda. He was invited so that I was not the oldest on the trip. After drinking, eating was the next most popular activity.

About 30ish? Bit melty yesterday but better today. Going to throw it down with rain tomorrow so I’m not complaining!
