Have a great time - get us some pics and if somebody could write a few words for the next fanzine I'd be most grateful.

What a great evening :) :) :)
At first I thought we were a little away from the action but it turned out to be a prime spot as all arrived and filled the space.

Good to meet you Viv and Mike and all the others . Alam turned up in American Iron and we were all secretly envious of all that cabin space ...cool car mate !!!
Myself and James finally got the 2 cars together which we reckoned must have shared a showroom in Nth London at some time .... NLX 97L and NLX100L.
They are both 72 911Es with fully loaded identical Options and it was great to get the opportunity to compare and contrast the finer details ...

Great evening ...lots of US cars, UK cars , some pretentious Italian stuff and tons of Jap computers with wheels as well as some fantastic old racecars.

I'm sure the pics will follow ...great evening !!! only sorry I had to leave around 9 ...for all I know you guys are still there
Cheers

just got back

good evening, good to put names to faces and cars and all that.

nothing like the sound of fat balding men revving the tits of their cold engined italian motors, and spinning their wheels before pottering home at 0 miles an hour in order to park up in their super lux garages.

loved the disco mg.

amusingly stopped on the way home to get milk etc, and locked the keys in the car, laughed all the way home and back on the taxi trip to get the spare set.

It was indeed a great evening.. The best was getting all Dukes of Hazzard on yer asses as I left. Yeeeehhaaaa!

8)

Cruised home in the Mustang.. got some abuse by some Chavs in a XR2i who follwed me from the fairmile.. Peter must have sent them. :P Seemed to have it in for me and the Yank Iron.

Went to the 24 hour store and picked up a copy of 'The Getaway' with Steve McQueen and 'French Connection' special editions.

It was a cool evening :)

Now off to also cut keys and clean up my 911. :)

But on the other hand I had a proper look at the new 65 for Jo this weekend. Might try and make the Brands event but in the BMW...

Right folks here we go......sorry about the quality of the piccies but the light was failing fast and I forgot my big flashgun

A great DDK turnout 12 in all - great to see some new faces; Alex and Claire, Engin, Simon, Martin and Sonja and Keiran 8) The Fairmile as usual did no favours with the weather, it being cloudy and actually pretty chilly!!

It was an excellent turnout all round will all manner of cars and manufacturers represented; VW's, 2CV's, Ferrari, Ford GT, Aston's and of course Porshe.

The DDK area:

The red GT(D)40 in the background was being spanked round Goodwood on the monday before the Fairmile.
Did I dream it or was there a new Ford GT there? Anyone get a pic?
