Alfaholics have been excellent, very clear and great communication with pictures to back up the work.
The list continues to grow but the finishing line is in sight, MOT due for either Thursday of Friday. Mechanically everything should be pretty sound and the modifications should add to the feel of the car. In terms of safety and having peace of mind I am glad the work has been done. I get the impression the brakes were a bit of a hit or miss.

My car is getting collected on Tuesday, all the work is now complete and its as far as its going until I get to know the car.
Alfaholics obliged and sent a few quick pictures to show me the improved stance.
Very pleased with the way its looking, I promise there will be more pictures (if anyone's keen to see it).

That is now spot-on!
Perfect stance and with that set up of suspension/wheels & tyres, it'll drive like a different car.
Again, I guarantee, every time you park up and walk away, you'll look back and smile

lovely, you must be chuffed.
i'm even starting to like the Giulia 1600 supers as long as they are lowered slightly with the GTA wheels

As there seems to be plenty of Alfa love on here thought I'd post a few pics of my newly acquired 2000 GTV.
I bought the car on a Sunday, put it away and went on holiday on the Monday so no real chance for a test, managed to book an oil, filter, plug and general once over on my return then set off with a great bunch of mates to Scotland the next day for a proper test run !
Up to Loch Ness to stay in a great old house.
Through some amazing scenery to Applecross.
At the start of the "Skyfall" road.
Loch Ness 5 am Saturday
Pompey 4 pm Saturday !
The car ran very well indeed and was great fun on the twisty roads, nice sound and very capable, if anyone is thinking of one, do it !
Italian Lakes next.

My car arrived tonight, its also my 15 year anniversary so going for a drive, other than round the block wasn't really an option. Quick couple of pictures, all in all feels and sounds lovely. The car is still a bit tatty in terms of the bodywork but this was known and there is lots to do. Should be enjoyable getting the car up to standard. Its such a great shape
