... I never take the m1 around Leeds when heading south , usually I go down the A1 and into m18

Looks like I can go either way to get to the curry house .... Anyone familiar with travelling those roads at 6pm ish, which is the best for traffic flow , A1 or M1 ?

I would suggest that maybe the A1 might be better James - the M1 south coming out of Leeds tends to be rather heavy at that time.

Speed controlled to 50mph much of the way at the moment between Leeds and Derbyshire too.

I had planned a sneaky last minute gatecrash all being well and the weather is great today.....alas I'm in the same boat as Ian. :(

Would have been good to catch up, shame I can't make it.......have a great evening guys and look forward to catching up sometime soon.

I'm booked already for Spa in May ... just a matter of accomodation ( at sensible money) to sort, which is proving a little bit more difficult
