Can I ask how this will work? Which parts will you try to book. Just the tours? We will have to book hotels and crossings following your suggestions?
As with previous events we've done with 1st-tickets, Hotels, ferries / tunnel will be available as a package with options on travel arrangements etc Any planned excursions will be part of it too.. Brian @ 1st-tickets is very flexible though, so you can book independantly if you want.

I'm overseeing it all and telling Brian what we ( DDK ) do & don't want.. We will have hotels sorted soon.

The ;) is all through me.

Driving route's will be suggested

Just for clarification, I have no financial interest in any of the events organised for DDK .

Count me in, (Tim's +1), subject to permission on both sides.

The Museum alone is fantastic!

I've overlooked this thread for some reason but count me in if at possible, though it looks like I've missed the boat.

Just wondering what this meant.

If anyone is interested in making a detour on the way down to Stuttgart, it is my towns SOMMERKIRCHWEIH ...The local Beer festival. It is on between 5th -14th July. I may be able to offer some accommodation, but I think I have the in-laws staying at the same time

The Beer festival is one of the best in the area, not too big but all you need to have a nice time...Beer by the Litre, a Pig and a Cow on a spit, all the sausages you can eat, Mullets, Fairground rides, proper cheesy cover bands, and best of all I get free beer tokens from work :)

Anyway, don't want to spoil any of James' superb planning, but something to think about.

Herzogenaurach - Stuttgart = about 220km (autobahn)

Cheers

beer :drunken: 8)

Hoping to have some ideas on costs & hotels etc ASAP. Things have just been held up by the VERY slow response from the Factory on our request for a additional tours on the Tuesday morning.
