All finished and delivered by Alan from Canford Classics...

It's been a long journey from when I first started looking for a car to finally owning my own classic Porsche, but when I found Canford Classics in the autumn of 2009 I knew I'd found the right company. Canford Classics have been nothing but friendly, helpful and absolutely professional to deal with and have really led me through the process of having a car restored and effectively built to my exacting specification.

I'm often not the easiest customer to deal with as I have a real thing for attention to detail, but Canford Classics have really gone above and beyond in their willingness to deliver exactly what I was looking for - including upgrading the specification several times along the way.

Now that I've got the car I'm extremely pleased with the end result and don't think I could have found a better company to complete the job - I can't recommend Canford Classics highly enough! :)

Thanks Paul - I'm pretty pleased!

I'm now thinking about tracking the car at the AutoRevival event at Goodwood in August so that I can have a bit of fun with all that power! :)

Sat down with a glass of wine and reread this thread from page one. Wonderful ! I often get to thinking how our cars would have looked standing in the showroom, waiting for their first owners to sign on the dotted line and drive them away. I guess this is what you have, with the added advantage of specifying the car to your personal desires, the stuff of which dreams are made.

Such a beautiful car and what a journey, being involved in the build so you know your car inside out is a rare experience... do I sound envious... I am of course, a little..... it makes me wonder how my car would be, given the same Canford treatment. One day prehaps, one day. :)

Congratulations, this car will undoubtedly bring you great joy. (So much more than an Aston. ) And I look forward to seeing the pair of you, out and about, sooner or later.

Regards, Mike.
