I have received their bank transfer details, but don't understand how they're going to link my postal application form to a direct bank transfer :? :? ... this time they really are making life difficult

Andy, I have asked ACO about tribunes, but I'm still waitina reply.

I have found some grandstand tickets but they're about £25

Has anyone actually booked yet?

It looks like they are making it particularly hard for non-French Porsche owners to register. PClub France will not take credit cards, probably will not accept a UK sterling cheque, and most banks want £35 to transfer abroad. You will also need track day cover to do the track laps.

I have booked 2 weekend entrance & 2 paddock passes direct from ACO ( via the CLM'08 website ):

total cost including UPS delivery was 150 euros. ( & I could use my credit card with their online shop :) )

Life is too short to try & book tickets via the Porsche Club

So if Helen and I book the Porsche lounge weekend pass will we be a pair on Johnny no-mates or will anyone else be in the Porsche lounge?

Also how do we book the grandstand tickets?

As this is the first time we will be going, what we don't want is to book something no-one else is doing. Is there a plan for us to have a meet/socializing point during the day, if not the Porsche lounge?

I am confused!

Yes, we will need to organise various get togethers during the weekend - the camping will of course be a focal point and for those of those with accommodation (including me and my young lady!) we will need to organise other get togethers (although I wil also have a tent and do a night with the rabble! lol).

Porsche Lounge? Not for me! There's so much to do that hanging around in a Porsche lounge or a dinner is not on my agenda.

The entrance to the exclusive Porsche tent last time was probably my least memorable activity!

I shall be booking a week end Ticket Reservation, Porsche Club Parking and the 2 track rounds through the club. They are not making it easy but I'm sure it will be worth it. The track laps will probably be empty  as they are demanding insurance cover, which I have got through my AON cover an no extra cost. Helen/Larry keep an eye on your email for further info.

James,

Are you still arranging the camping? I'm a little confused now :drunken:

Do I assume we only need to book general entry tickets, laps, grandstand, etc direct?

camping is all sorted ( for those that had their name down ) & we're all in Karting Nord ..... lucky we got this organised as the camping in both MB & KN have sold out.

ACO have taken the money from me & I'm now just waiting for the tickets to be sent to me.

You all need to book your entrance tickets, paddock access, grandstand tickets etc independantly.

Were these not the things we booked at the 'round building' on the day we arrived last time?

These were the things we picked up at the round building last time. Or at least I did - having previously paid for them.

yes ... but as Bootsy says, we had already booked them in advance & were just collecting them on the day.

I've had enough of the Porsche interference & cock ups so have booked my tickets & paddock passes from ACO.

I have also booked a grandstand seat in tribune 18 via Team Langoustine
