....but then I never underestimate the skill of the metal meister and this morning's photos highlighted just how brilliant he is ......







Now perfect and bang on spec!

A balls ache for Barry, more expense for me but in the grand scheme of things a potential 'if only' well and truly dodged.

Extra time on these metalwork areas are never wasted....perfection takes time....costs money...but is always enjoyed for years after the pain has receded....

I am blown away with each project home many little details turn out be be specific for this and that model. The great thing about it is that it sharpens your eye for those many “concour restorations” out there....

And of course, Barry’s metal magic is beyond my comprehension

Definitely worth the extra time and money to get it right at this stage of the work, especially given the investment you are making in all those period correct parts.
