Barry did roll the inner arches for me. I asked for that because I have a set of 7Rs for the rear which I will probably run with spacers.

i am doing the same, 7R plus spacers so asked Barry to roll my arches as well - great minds etc.....

Sheel looks really sweet

Everything (including the new Porsche panels) has gone back to bare metal as the first stage of paint prep.

A skim of filler in places, but not tons of the stuff.

And some epoxy primer.
Lovely and tough, offering much better protection against corrosion than was usual in 1969.

Takes me back 11 years to see those pictures....lovely stuff...!

Let's start with the front slam drains .

Will pop down to Steve's in next day or so and beat the little darlings out. Oh well, at least they make an excellent cuppa. Sigh.

Richard, good timing. Mine is about ready for paint. I will watch with interest. Currently have three versions of Gemini Blue to choose from. The one I think is the closet is the lightest shade of blue from the three paint suppliers.

Gemini is pretty light. Sure that's a great help!

Anyway my cock-up is...

.... the highlighted drain holes are not correct for a 1970 car. I'm told they were introduced for the '74 model year. You all knew that, right?
*** edit - Darren, Gitesh, Mike say mid '73 model year and I'm sure they are right. Either way mine is wrong ***


As mentioned above, Barry is willing and able to fix immediately. Many thanks Barry. Still in first coat of primer, just in time.
