New TÜV on red car...Good for another 2 years with one advisory:

Motor ölfeucht

...basically, Engine wet with Oil

I don't need a Weatherman to tell me its raining when its pouring down outside, but good that everything else was in order :)

Last night I fixed the brake light but I had to use the photo to tell me when it was/wasn't working. No assistant!

That is a really smart idea.
I usually back up to something and look in the mirror but that only works when it is dark

Good plan, what did you decide was wrong with it in the end ?

Mike.

I took off the connectors cleaned them & swapped them around to match the working side and it worked. However, I think there might be more to this. Like the wire where it connects to the crimp connector my need refreshing.

Had a real crappy couple of weeks for various reasons…….sat moping in front of the computer with no desire to do anything, Jason's post suddenly inspired me to take the E for a drive.

No.2 daughter was out with the wife, just me and No.1 daughter, I asked if she fancied a break from her A-Level studies and come for a spin?……

….she jumped at the chance, a quick snapchat 'out with dad' photo and we off driving some fantastic roads on a beautiful evening at a brisk/steady/relaxing pace and I spent the next 40 mins listening to my daughter's fears, hopes, anxieties, aspirations, goals and plans for future….

…..the best 40 minutes I've spent in a long, long time. Therapeutic even…..life's actually really quite good.

Nothing better than an early 911 world…..especially when shared with the ones you love :)

How weird.

After washing the orange beastie, cleaning up the back parcel shelf/rear seat space by climbing through the cage, painting my homemade new seat side mounts I took my 14 year old daughter out for an evenings blast.

She didn't say much though as I was pushing along pretty hard.

Wouldn't have heard her if she had said something.

Love this car :compress:

early morning start in the garage, finsihed off my oil change, replaced rear shocks with shiney new Bilsteins, quick run around the block, top up oil with 1 litre more and all finished and sat in the sun before 10am 8)
