Any recommendations for getting an old Porsche Design Orfina chrono fixed - the winder has come out, and wont screw back in. Watch still works. Its one of the early ones with ORFINA on the dial not the PD logo.
Thanks
Jonathan

I had a winder problem on a heuer that Stefan sorted for me
https://vintagewatchfever.co.uk/. He is based in NE London/Essex so I used to cycle up to him from work (does postage work too). Top bloke, very laid back in a Scandi way, but lots of people will be able to sort this problem out for.

Should be easy enough to sort, is it a plain crown? PVD watch? Leamania 5100 or Val 7750 movement?

Ok Val 7750 movement
The issue will be if it needs a new crown you’ll need to source a signed ‘PD’ one in PVD which could be problematic
May be able to reuse that one though

Hopefully just a case of having it refitted - not a terribly difficult job

Back from a service. Unfortunately yesterday I scratched the crystal cleaning the car. Just polished it out using Autosol

The first ones were released in mid ‘73 and then changed to the PD branding from Orfina sometime in ‘74
