White walls on a sports car is very USA, and esp California imho.

A Healy 3000 looks good on them there, as do E Type, TR6 etc, but on a 911 it somehow misses the target.
Guess I'm not alone.

The listing says that somebody had swapped the original 2.2T engine for a later 2.7 engine & 915 gearbox.

Current owner then sourced/fitted a 2.2 engine & dogleg gearbox.

Legal complications and value for money aside, hoping this is not a sign of further commoditisation of the hobby...

That ad has been in there for well over a year, and I simply can’t understand why anyone would do it. You would need 4 like minded people to make it work (ie none of them drive it at all, or on a very limited mileage basis) otherwise one chap with £25k to burn could ruin their investment by sticking loads of miles (worse track miles) on it.

On the yellow targa I am trying to figure out the wheels. Are they trims hiding steels?
