DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Right, I'd better keep at it, there's a threat of another 993 colour change thread on this forum.
Well, more a sort of 'colour reinstatement' but I hear tell it's the personal car of the CEO of the DDK conglomerate. So, it will be well funded and no doubt to the highest of standards.
Until then, my amateurish efforts....

Rear shelf going back in. The speakers are modern upgraded units, slightly larger with bigger and heavier magnets but - fortuitously - fitting under the original standard grilles:

Rear seats back in place. Now all black.

I also had to replace the centre console (my original being pale grey).
The gaitor for the gear lever had also been light grey so that is now substituted with the black leather 'RS' style lever. Much better looking than the standard offering.

The rear section of my centre console had been fitted with a tape cassette holder.
Full marks for originality but not much value these days.

So, I've replaced it with a black leather covered drinks holder.
Just the perfect size for a couple of cans.

I had some work to do on the console switchgear as there was now a redundant rocker switch for the rear wiper.
It would need deleting.

I purchased a 'blank' from Porsche. Quite a bargain, only about £3 I think. Which for Porsche is cheap.
But for a bit of plastic that does nothing is expensive I guess....
The old switch is pictured below already removed. The wiring loom was left uncut, simply taped up and folded away (for that day when someone wants to restore it back to original).

More black components. Doorcards, grab handles and door pockets/bins to replace the marble grey interior. Looking grand.

It'll just be blown over by a man in a shed probably....you have nowt to worry about.
