Also keep thinking wether I should 'upgrade' my GMT with one of the new ceramic GMT's .... although I can't help think it would be like moving from a 3.2 carrera to a 997 ... and then regretting it quite soon when you realise the the older had more charactor

James I've just listed my GMT Ceramic and, as you know, I have first refusal on your GMT, you can part ex it against it if you wish?

I'll put a link up to a pic here so those who are interested can all see it for a short while if you wish. I'd rather nobody posted in the forum what it is though as people trawl the internet around the world trying to get these and I'll be inundated with every idiot trying to buy it from me and bootsy will have a lot of new bogus people joining the forum just so they can get in touch. (I know...i've done it many times in reverse

Woah these guys are expensive! I've got a mint Omega Speedmaster Mk2 with the racing/exotic dial for sale at £1500 and thats waaaaaay prettier and rarer than the standard black dial they sold at £1600

Don`t want to appear rude but with that build up I was expecting something a bit special.
Working on the premise that the only stupid question is the unasked question... what`s so good about that and why are you expecting the world and his dog to beat a path to your door ?

Sorry guys i wasn't trying to appear cocky or up my own backside but there are genuine reasons for doing this as I just explained to Mike in PM. If anyone doesn't know what it is then I'm happy to chat about by PM but we chat about it here and I'll have to delete it. That may be hard to understand as its 'just a watch' but its sensible.

i keep coming back to this thread but i'm still not getting the attraction for spending thousands of pounds on a watch. must be a man thing.

I have to confess I haven't read all the pages here so I hope to goodness this is a show and Tell. If so, this is what I wear
- always been a massive fan of Marc Newson (his Ford concept a particular highlight) and the Ikepod remains the designers choice (well I like to think it does - after all Jonathan Ive wears one and he designs...well ...pretty much everything that's
for Apple)
