Have removed the red script on the engine lid.. Think it was OTT
time to close the thread now I have the car.
So far I've only driven it back from Wardington but driving around in the sun this afternoon life felt great.

Looks wonderful in the 'wild'
As we said at Tuthills - a bit of sun and that slate grey just comes to life

Please don't tell me that you live in that building... The car looks great
That was my garage door for 15 years!

Magnificent achievement Dan, well done. Looking forward to seeing the car in the flesh.
You've built a really cool hot rod that will serve as an inspiration to others
Thanks for sharing.

Looks superb Dan - how does it feel to be driving it now all that hard work has finished? Are you coming to CLM? I wonder if we should put a "class of 13 & 14" photo together for all the recently revived cars....

no I was just passing ... on the way from the bike event at Tobacco Dock to Canary Wharf.. the other half had never been to Wapping and I spotted that and thought it would be a good backdrop. lovely building
I did live in Prusom's Island on the high street in the mid 90s though
nice Pagoda

Thats funny, i spotted this with the red script on friday heading toward london. I was the one gawping at it from within a maroon 944 in the rain!

I gave it a bit of beans for your benefit,...how did it sound from behind?

Hah, i just try to fit the wheels as perfectly to the arches as possible!
Car looked and sounded lovely!
For what its worth i quite liked the red on the back. Made it look very hotrod with it on the grey. Very subtle in the rain.
I couldnt keep up in the 44 shocked me.. need a turbo i do.
Im building a little hotrod/outlaw 70 911t. Its got a 3.0 going in it at the moment. Probably not as many horses as yours though!?

I think it was Bob Tilton who coined the phrase Satanic details?
These are mine:
Refurbed Becker
Heuer dash timer mounted on glovebox lid
Not bothered if it's the right year or not I like it
I know it should really be a DDK badge but I risked life and limb to earn this
WEVO black anodised door handles.. Contact points in any car are key
I love this and it will be even cooler when I stop needing to display the actual one
Slate grey.. Le Mans pass... Need I say more?

Very nice Dan, the car looks superb.
We'll forgive you the lack of DDK badge, the 'Shuttlecock' is a worthy replacement.

All very cool Dan... now you just need some winter rubber and drive it over to St Moritz for another crack at the run
