I have a couple of DDK pop up stands, more suited to indoor event. Not seen the light of day for ages so not sure of content or condition.

Hello chaps, just booked in for Sunday, more than happy, indeed priveleged to be part of the DDK club display. Might, just might be in the 356 failing that I'll be slumming it in the 911.

If you're thinking of coming for the club stand, get booked in with a Sunday ticket which will be required anyway. I'm still waiting on information for the Club Display which I understand will be on the track.

Update from the organisers on Club Parking...
An update on club space at Retro Rides Weekender! We’ve had a great response so far and club space is already 50% full, we’re hoping for that great, diverse range of cars that we’re known for.

The current plan is to send all clubs their own passes to print out and put in their windscreen (will be black and white A4). Whilst they won’t be 100% required they will really help us keep traffic moving and heading to the right spot so we would appreciate it if people arrive with them displayed in their windscreen. It is important that you keep us updated on stand sizes so we make sure we allocate the right amount of space for you. We’ll drop an email out a bit before the event to get firm numbers and send out your passes to print.

Some people may well have already put themselves in on the Retro Display booking on Sunday and that is all fine, we use the bookings to manage numbers and which bits of the site we may need to open. Having people effectively double counted as part of a club stand and being on display is less of an issue on the Sunday as we have a lot more room to play with (I also like to see photos of the cars people are bringing as it makes me more excited for the show!).

The procedure on the day: Cars for the displays and club spaces arrive at the front gates of Goodwood, they will be waved in and if they are displaying a suitable pass sent in the correct direction. They will have their tickets checked and then guided to the right spot for the club stand. It is important for our traffic flow that they have their tickets handy for scanning, tickets are not available to purchase on the gate and must be purchased before arrival. Tickets can be purchased here : https://www.trybooking.com/uk/events/landing?eid=17357&

If you have members that are also coming on the Saturday the process is broadly the same but we park the Retro Parking/Display up in the order they arrive, for an excellent melting pot of cars.

People on club stands can get on track on the Sunday Autosolo, we’re still nailing down the details of that so we’ll be updating on when that is available to book.

We are currently planning to do a big track parade on the Sunday at around 3pm. However we’re still ironing out if that will be possible with the volume of cars we hope to have and the different places they will need to get back to on the site (so we don’t turn the parade into a traffic jam.
Looks like it'll be a great day!

Clubs update from the 10th April below, I've not heard anything since although I'm sure it is all in hand.

Is there a limit on club parking, there are a few guys on IB who may like to interlope. Like myself, most frequent here anyway.

Hi Nige,

At the present time there does not appear to be a limit on the number of club parking spaces. I don't see an issue with a few IB refugees especially of they are already on here. Suggest that they come on and add themselves to this thread!

Cheers!

Thanks Ollie, I will be one of those. Nige and I will be driving down together.
