If I were selling that car I think I would be very pleased with what it fetched. As has been said, shiny paint can cover a multitude of sins and the word restoration can get flung around, sometimes that means its been painted and the odd patch welded up the next it can mean a Barry Carter nut and bolt restoration. Massive difference between the two!!

Of course it could be a proper solid thing, if so the buyer has done quite well.

That is usually enough time for the hidden find a way out. I’d think.
