Gentlemen, thank you so much for all your greetings. It is so nice to know that there are so many folks on the same wavelength as you. I really think we should have a 'cars and coffee' meet up sometime this year. I'm near to Horsham in West Sussex so the somewhere in the home counties might be a good start. Thanks again guys!

I've got a T6 B as well ( fortunately mine is RHD, so haven't had to go through anywhere near as much rigmarole as you seem have done ) I'm also based ( pretty )close to you in Walton on the Hill in Tadworth - when the weather gets a little better and the evenings a little longer - I'd love to catch up.

Hi Joe,
Walton on the Hill is just up the road from me. In the early days of the magazine '911 & Porsche World', edited by a very old mate of mine - Clive Househam, there used to be a monthly meet at a pub in Tadworth. I'm damned if I can remember the name of the pub but it was North of the village adjacent to a green. There used to be always 20 or so Porsches turn up and it was a great little meet, so I'm thinking why can't a similar event be re-started. Maybe KS decided the trip up from Cornwall each month was a bit much! Anyway the first meet for me and the 356 is going to be this coming Tuesday at the Fountain in Ashurst where the faithful of the SADCASE club meets each month. SADCASE?? that's Storrington And District Classic And Sportscar Enthusiast. A great club, no rules, no committee, no subs, and over a thousand members with all sorts of classic vehicles.

Hey, i’m Pretty sure it was called Either the Blue Ball or Chequers. Basically the only two decent pubs in the area. There’s one called the Fox and Hound, which has a lot of potential, but just doesn’t deliver...

Both have decent carparks, although IMO the beer is better at Chequers. I’ll pop in tomorrow and see if they have any objections to a load of Porsche’s turn up once a month and will report back squadron leader.

The Blue Ball does ring a bell, I think it was that one, but whatever. As regards timetable I reckon late Spring through to late September would be suitable for the many folks who, although we really should, we actually don't drive our lovely Porsches when the weather is inclement. Anyway you need the light evenings just to check out each others cars. And once a month would be perfecto. Southern DDK ers, lets do this.
