Welcome to DDK, seems that you are enjoying it here. Bought my 911 in Califoria from the well known conman Wayne Krieger at B2BFast, although he was as honest as the day is long with me.

Wayne Krieger, Rich Krieger, Rich McKrager. Fast Classics, Moto Meister. I have not heard of him in quite sometime. Hopefully he met his end with a Nadella or a center lube to the back of his skull. He typically advertised from th central california Bay area San Francis, Novato, etc...bjmullan wrote:Welcome to DDK, seems that you are enjoying it here. More recent is a guy in Sheridan Wyoming Less crook than total Kook. Will run you around in circles or place tempting ads Wait for a sea of responses then yank the ad and not take anyones calls.
Buyer beware, do your homework and rely on the network of friends here and on other sites to complete a picture before buying anything serious. Then their is always PPI which I will not buy an unseen car without.
I am glad your transaction went well with him. You may be the only one from what I have heard. BTW No one seems to have met or knows what Krueger looks like. Thats a red flag

I met Wayne (but no pictures of him) at his place at the corner of Galvez Ave and Phelps St which from Google is now Lee Body Shop. He was so nice that he gave me the owners book to take away with me as I wouldn't see the car for six weeks. After our meeting I wired him the money and travelled back to the UK. Here's a picture of my celebration drink after (I'm on the right).

There you go, teasing me with pictures of frosty beverages on Sunday morning! Who knows what happened to Krieger. Need for cash, driven by greed, bad marriage, maybe retired and someone took over his name? Something happened that turned the nice honest guy into 20 pages of google complaints and being blackballed from every site on the Net? I may be exaggerating but I have not read or heard anything positive about him.
Cheers! Im opening a beer

Randy - thanks for sending the pics.trdking wrote:Really? That bad Huh?davep wrote:And you said that with a straight face; amazing!inaglasshouse wrote:Surely we need pics of everything? Isn't that the DDK rule? I'd like to see the '65 normale, please.
Don't worry, posting pics is really easy. Nobody ever has any trouble.
In reality, he'll need to link to photos already posted on the Early S Reg.
I can't say that I have posted pictures of the Normale on 911s Registry. I have personally showed pictures to Frank beck when I was in his shop in Scottsdale but I don't think I have splattered photo trail for the wolves to track me down. As you know we have hit a soft spot in the Porsche frenzy (which I believe is short lived) but when I bought the car a year and a half ago the rumor mill frenzy got me 2 - 6 phone calls a day asking me if it was true and was the car for sale. I of course laughed in surprise and said they were barking up the wrong tree. Now that it has settled down I will try to get a photo to squeeze through.
Here's that '65, as found:

Here's Randy's 356C, as found in a "barn" (or garage somewhere warm, more accurately).
I like the story that comes with this one:
Seriously commented on a girls Piaget watch at breakfast and 20 minutes later I was looking at Moms Porsche in garage. Moms Boyfriend bought this car for her when he was stationed in Germany and shipped it to her. I am the second owner in this picture
