Ok this is where we are - Mail below, basically $80 to ship individually and $34 as a group.

Maybe split into South and north for shipping and the ddk courier service can kick in? Up to you guys really. See note re printing templates for mats.

Hello Derek and forgive the delay in getting back to you.

My computer has been down and just getting it back up and running.

Below are some example figures for shipping rates with my 63% discount via UPS Expedited International. Note that when we ship individually via UPS, the package will be marked as a "gift" with $50.00 value to help avoid high customs/ duty charges.

Example 2-Piece Set to your address: $81.79 (approx. 12lbs)

Example 4-Piece Set to your address: $81.79 - No change (approx 18lbs)

To ship in bulk the numbers would look as follows:

2 Packages, each approx. 70lbs

$167.43 x 2 = $334.86 DIVIDE by 10 members - Total shipping per member would be about $34.00 each

What I would like to do is e-mail you PDF's that are TO SCALE Scans of our current patterns for the cars in your list. Could you possibly post these PDF's to the forum so members can look at them, download if necessary and approve the patterns prior to production? They will be To Scale so if you download them and take to a Print/ Copy shop with a large format printer, you'd be able to print them off and physically test fit them in the car. This would help alleviate any concern you may have with returns and having mats shipped to 1 address.

Let me know your thoughts on the above and we'll go from there. Thanks

Could I get in on this?
I could pick up mats from daughter in Brighton or they could be individually shipped to me here in France.
Two piece set for LHD 74 carrera -will go look at site to choose colour.

I would prefer group shipping and DDK courier, happy to assist and the Northern ones can be sent to me if I'm fairly central to those ordering.

How do we avoid customs/duty charges if they are sent in bulk?

I'm easy and will go with the flow - maybe one central location and leave it to individuals to get their own mats collected?

Re import/duty etc. for group shipping he mentioned that he would mark as 'Gift' and value like $200. So the duty would need to be split but would be like $5 each.

For what it's worth, I think they know what they're doing in terms of "patterns" for the front mats.
When I bought some for my old car a few years back, I didn't do the PDF template thing, and the mats were a good fit straight off.
Maybe they are being super careful before manufacturing a bulk group buy...

Re shipping, if it can be arranged I'd like mine shipped to Los Angeles, and avoid the tax and intl courier altogether for my mats.
If that adds any hassle at all with them Derek, no worries: I'll join in with a London consolidated shipment instead.

Hi James - should not be a problem to send to LA. But you have a 8% Cali sales tax so maybe not much in it.

Just waiting on Drew to confirm we can start ordering. It will work like this

1. You will go to Cocomats.com website and place your own order (I guess we need a cut off date for everyone to have their order in otherwise we will never get these mats!).

2. There will be a field where you will enter 'ddk group buy'

3. You will be charged the normal price on website but this is charged manually, so Drew will apply the discount when processing the order.

I think the consensous is 2 combined shipping orders, one to Northern Members and Second for down South.

I can take delivery for orders for down South and bring with me to Fairmile meet. There will be a small charge for the VAT, probably about $5 each or so (on a value of $200 marked on package).

Does anyone want to nominate themselves for Northern Delivery?

I'm happy to receive the Northern delivery and help organise collection/delivery to the others....will be a good excuse to organise another meet up anyway.

What kind of delivery period would be expected if we all get them ordered by the end of next week?

I could also take delivery, I could then deliver into Scotland on my way to work, also drop them of at Mike Bainbridges if that works.

I need to send Drew a consolidated spread sheet. He will email you the pdf templates that you can check that they will correctly fit your car.

He will not accept an order if you have not confirmed the template is correct.

Can everyone in the list above PM me their email address and which group their mats should be delivered - North or South.

Once all agreed with templates we can start ordering. About 3-4 weeks once ordered.

CAN WE GET ALL EMAILS CONTACTS OVER TO ME ASAP?
