It was a great day.

highlights for me....

- Ferryman wandering over and casually chatting to The Prodigy - Paul is down with the kids.

- A lady stopping me and asking if I was one of the pop stars - she said I had pop star hair and she'd heard there were a few stars in attendance and wondered if I was one of them - hilarious!

- Quality sausage rolls (thanks Ferrywoman)

- James' new Green Meanie - stunning in the flesh

- the inability to walk more than 10 feet without seeing somebody or being stopped for a chat - people make the day for me, the cars are a bonus!

Yes excellent day, worth the trip over, I also spent more time chatting than looking at the cars. All good.

Just waiting for Paul's pictures now...

Cheers

I think I must've been there for an hour and a half before I stopped chatting and took the lens cap off and this was my inspiration; what use to be known as ROO4:

With 39 (?) RSs in attendance Nigel's car stood out as one of the most striking, imo:

The owner of a very fine 3.0 RS looking none too happy with Fred's running commentary:

I spent more time looking in my rear view mirror watching his splendid RS following me than I did on the road ahead...

Pretending to be Ferryman (just for a second  ):

Image

This chap's name was Gary Virgil Bond (or thereabouts) and he was very enamoured with his initials being on this very famous car:

thats kind Steve, but it was your majestic S that got the rosette and rightly so ! brilliant event, really enjoyed it, left at half one and was home by three after a spirited blast.
