Don't forget the competition to win the two tickets for the gala dinner. Check the latest issue (you can get the digital version, too, don't forget).
See you all there – with a rather interesting recently 'rediscovered' 901-series race car on hand...

Re: Castle Hedingham - 2nd Sept
Hello KS,
I've heard tale of this car. Is he getting you to drive it up? He was whinging about the long journey over the other day.
I've never knowingly been to a gala dinner and if I'm honest I don't really know what one is. Is it to do with bingo? I understand bingo is a popular past time for your generation. Clickety click.

Re: Castle Hedingham - 2nd Sept
Further update
Watch out the Carrera RS is coming
Classics at the Castle Update
Having first appeared at the Paris salon in the Autumn of 1972, the Carrera RS is due to celebrate its fortieth anniversary in September 2012. A date which coincides perfectly with this year’s Hedingham event.
Supported by AutoAtlanta, we will be celebrating this historic milestone with a parade of forty Carrera RS model types, plus a number of the subsequent RS models that followed.
Big news is with less than a week to go that if every RS owner who has said they will actually turns up does so, then we currently have 44 cars promised including 5 RSR's. Whatever drop outs there are from this list may well be made up by last minute surprises but it should be the largest group of RS's seen together in the UK ever I think, and will look brilliant as a display moving up the hill en-masse

Re: Castle Hedingham - 2nd Sept
I have been thinking about coming down, arriving at the hotel about 2030 - 2100. How many of you folks will be there? Any thoughts about the security cameras in the car park and is there special parking?
Thanks
Dom

I should be at Hedingham early on Sunday morning so I can great the fuzzy headed Northerners who have no doubt disgraced themselves the night before in the fine University Town of Cambridge (in which 'Gentlemans' clubs are quite popular!)

Can't make the evening 'do', but might be able to get there for breakfast/convoy down.
Any idea what time you are thinking of leaving?
