All I know about this car is that Steve once owned it.

Over the last 3 years I've no idea who actually has, for how long or where....it's all over the place this thread!

So can we have precis Steve of what has actually happened with it....preferably ending with it's current price and how pi$$ed off you are you sold it...

Jason, it's easy; keep up now.

I bought it in October 2009 and sold it to Paul Stephens October 2012. He then sold it to someone who is either selling it on consignment through Greenside or was purchased outright by them. Rumour is the price is now £125,000 but this remains to be confirmed.

Would rather not comment on current emotional state.

I must be getting daft in my old age. Not being wholly familiar with the term 'offside rear wing' I had suspected it meant passenger side. Knowing the 1972 911 (for the most part) has a right side oil filler door, this would lead me to think the car in question is LHD. But if supplied to the UK, surely this would be a RHD car. Hence my confusion unless it is as rare as the 1972 911 without a right side oil filler door. Why can't they just say right wing or left wing and be done with it? Since you Brits have (probably) more LHD cars than RHD it is a right puzzler as to what an offside wing is.

An easy way to remember is to think of the car being parked at the side of a road in the uk

The side nearest the kerb is the Near side (N/S).

The side away from the kerb is the Off side (O/S).

So the Near-side of the car is the Passenger's side and the Off-side is the Driver's side if you're looking at a RHD.

In the UK, offside is the right side (when viewed from the rear) - irrespective of whether the car is LHD or RHD.
