Agree, well done Bootsy, this is a special place and one worth fighting for. Thanks for fighting.

Bootsy, well done mate. I assume he can still read the non member areas, assuming that he can read. So lets just do a collective re-boot, sigh and forget 'im. He's a max power arse who knew nothing about... well nothing really. And the DDK marches on without him.
long live the DDK!

As someone who has a provided a forum on one of my sites for the last eleven years I do understand how reluctantly you ever ban any member. Light moderation, even a quiet word in someone's ear occasionally, but banning is truely the last resort.
But, it is the forum which counts and you owe it to all the people who derive so much help and pleasure from it to sometimes take the necessary action which goes against the natural grain.
So, well done Bootsy - DDK is far too valuable to all of us to bother about someone who will never understand what we love about this place.
Kind regards,
Bob

Shame we have had our first banned user but he truly brought it on himself. He was warned on multiple occasions. His loss, not ours. No need for an apology Bootsy.

He was quite normal when I met him (only 5mins mind) getting some parts for another. I said as much before but after reading through some of the other posts it's easy to see why the general opinion is he had to go.
whether or not you like someones choice of car/mod/recreation/resto it's plainly about his lack of respect for others which landed him in the doghouse. then he compounded that by further rudeness.
You gotta do what you gotta do Bootsy...

He had to go but did find some of his comments on pintopower a bit close to the truth
I have just put the car away for winter, have a Landy and wax coat, and a dog called Harvey, not a Lab though.
Have I turned into a stereotype?
Just realised I have no interest in expensive watches, is that radicle enough?
Stuart
