Here's my beast, an Allgaier A111 from 1955. It's been sitting for ~25 years.

when picked up

I found a nice Allgaier logo after a day with the power washer, my plan is to remove the red and creamy paint job and weep it with Gibbs and then leave it like that.

I bought a new exhaust and put on new tires on the freshly painted rims and gave it a Gibbs oil treatment ...and got the beauty started, knock knock
It just goes backwards but who cares for now. I love everything with it, the sound - the smoke - the look - and it brings such a charm

In light of recent House of Commons revelations, should this thread be reclassified as German Agricultural Porn?

Hoping this isn't dead, being the first post in 20 months!
Looks like being a lot of fun, despite being DIESEL

We're sure that it will be fun Ian! We have known this tractor for a long time, and driven it now and again over the years.
This is the Boss driving it at the Porsche tractor display at the Great Dorset Steam Fair in 2010.
She drove it around the ring on all 5 days of the show

Yes! We took it off for the trip back along the motorway because it was lashing rain, and had forgotten to put the cushion back on before I took the photos.

There are some great pics of that event in the book that was produced.
