Seriously though, you can have just as much fun in a nice T or 912 - status comes at a high price.

I agree you can have as much fun in any early Porsche .... but an S is not about status

I did, grown to like the colour.
Nice one at Goodwood on Friday when I was there.
Going to fly up to see it in a day or so, followed by transporter to bring the bits home

One of only 45 S cars in RHD imported that year.
This has probably been a unique event. There can't be another to uncover yet can there?
Check the build number before you hand over the cash........just to be sure.

holy c**p, 17400,it was only 6 years back i turned down an S for 4k
how things change,any one want a 1970 2.2 e RHD project with electric sunroof,windows and rear wipe,
only problem its in New Zealand

congratulations. Like you say, its only money and you can 'off' the number plate to Tom Bobson. to buy a set of wheels
