I've always wanted to fly

& yes Rich I'm sure when he gives me the bill I'll say something like WOW after I've picked myself off the floor  I keep telling myself and more importantly the wife "it's worth it and it's adding value to the car" but I don't think she's quite got it yet.

I've just come off the phone to Ben, the guy who is building my engine, and it's not good news. I went yesterday and saw my car, engine back in and looking good, after I left he got it running and txt me to say "running sweet". Today he has run it for longer and rang me to say that "he isn't happy with it".

Good to catch it now though Ian as opposed to a few thousand miles down the road. Also it can easily be something simple - it'll get sorted.

You can't rush an engine build, just have to take your time with a clear mind. At least he's been honest and put his hands up so give him time to put it right, it'll all come good in the end. What was the problem anyway, did he say. Keep us posted

If you want, lend me your hood and I'll give you a lift to the Hut

I got two days off work because the wife wants the kitchen decorating and my cars ready  she said if I've finished it she"ll take me to pick it up so you know it gonna be the world record for painting a room ever
I let you all know Friday

Great news Ian. Go and enjoy. Just pay for a decorator.

I've had to sell one of my kidneys to pay for the rebuild, I tried selling my body but no one wanted that  so there's no way I can pay a decorator too. You could offer a hand I've got plenty of rollers & brushes

Yeah I picked her up about 1pm (after applying a second coat to the gloss) my wife took me so had to dive with care and so she could follow me home (she's no too good on directions) also there's some running in to be done too. Had a nice drive home about 40 miles and most of it on the A614. She is running and sounding so sweet now. I've given her a good polish and tomorrows going to be a nice day so after work I'll get some more mile on the clock oh and I've put the badge on thanks Rich it look sweet too.
