Time to finish the floors and put in seat supports, toeboard supports and brackets for pedal box etc The seats were put on their runners and put in the car

Rear clip repaired at bottom left of deck lid, leaded, filled and gapped

So its starting to look like a car again 
Just the rear bulkhead and a few little other jobs should see it being filled, blocked and sealed this week
then its off for this putting on

My God. I remember seeing it a couple of times at the Harewood meetings and being jealous. Not so jealous any more!

Thanks Gary - I've decided a cooking engine is the way to go - the Damen (cooking) 1600 normal has a eye watering 60bhp should be more than enough to cruise all day long at 80mph+Gary71 wrote:Looks fantastic James

Work progresses at a pace, this week saw the finishing off of the battery box, with jack brackets put back in and final welds dressed (you can see the tow eye inner plate here too)
The rear bulkhead damage in now repaired and a new repair section formed and welded in – this allowed the area up to the wheelarch to be finished and inside the engine bay closing panel to be attached. New garnish rail supports finish the rear wings
