I have supplied a few of them to builders of ST/RSR inspired cars - either with or without headers:

Still back to this old topic; (calling Andy  )
has anybody ran this Dansk 911R/ST/RSR muffler set up in their car? Is it totally no no for street or just nicely very loud but still somehow usable?

The system is LOUD ... but prior to installing the R/ST/RSR-style system shown above I had short stainless steel megaphones(bolted to the ends of SSI's) on my car so am used to running with a loud exhaust !

The actual sound seems to be somewhat dependent on the size (capacity) & state of tune of the engine - smaller capacity/higher revving versions produce a much better sound in my opinion.

Here's Ash Rolfe's RSR-inspired car with one of the systems fitted:

& here's a very similar (early '70's Ansa copy of the 911R system) which I loaned him for the Cannonball 8000 Run:

Huge thanks Andy!!!!!

If its any quieter than megaphones that should work. :)

ps. I totally agree with you what comes to engine specs/type and impact on sound
