.....so ...you dont want my junior tractor then... :(

...Would a marquee (black or yellow) with DDK logo printed on it be any use?

Would be a focal point and show up from a distance, but might get in the way if you wanna put a lot of cars on the (smallish) stand.

Could obviously use it at future events...or w/o a logo we could raffle it...

If you need help filling in the health & safety forms. fire & risk assessments
& method statements.....dont ask me , I'm sick of 'em !

Just out of interest, is 15m what you asked for or is all they would give you?

Who did you deal with, Andy or Paul..?

the free, NEW CLUBS stands in Hall 2 all seem to be much the same size. and for our first attempt i think its large anough.

we are going to have to keep it down to just 4 car though :( else we won't have any room to walk around the cars, open the doors or have anything else on the stand.

been speaking to Andy or Sandra. who are extremly helpful.

a DDK gazebo would be great, and i'd be happy to store it & bring it along to other future events. :P

 Wow - just caught up with this post :) What an amazing response!

If you need it I could gladly volunteer 50" plasma on an exhibition mount - to show the DDK CLM video? Plus a rolling slide show of members cars / event pictures etc?

Happy to lend any of the cars - Carrera 356 still in resto (engine on a stand looks mega :) ), LYV etc. if there's space and a need.

And more than happy to come and help James put people off joining

Top effort that Girl ;)

Just thought - I've also got a Brian James Race shuttle and tow vehicle - if you need a covered transport for furniture / stuff.

like the idea. i'll look into getting electric supply to stand. i didn't bother tickingthat box as i presumed it would be beyond our means.

umm it could be fun to have the carrera 356 & engine on display. be more interesting to talk about than the perfect examples usually seen at shows.

the theme of the show is Launches. and with te 356 having its 50th birthday this year it would infact be quite apt to have a display of diffrent 356. but i don' want anyone to feel there being left out.

the more the merrier.

Helen, don't you mean 60 th anniversary of the launch of the 356!

Am happy to help with cars for the display and could do a day or so on the stand as well. How about a completely stripped Notchback shell (transport no problem)? Or the PreA/coupe if you like.
Would like to contribute some money say £100 or £200, can do it as sponsership or as a donation.
Let me know what you need/want.
