Best of luck with the next stage

Thomas - now you've blasted it how do you intend to stop surface rust forming on the shell while you are getting on with the repairs ?
Or do you work very fast ?

Whilst you are there can you measure the distance between the centre line of the inlet ports ? My engine is in lost more pieces and I am trying to set up the throttle linkage for my motorbike TB conversion. To this end I have the inlet manifolds screwed to a piece of wood, I want to confirm that they are spaced correctly and that I have the offset between the banks correct, so, is number 1 inlet port centre on line perpendicular and 1/2 way between 5 and 6 ?
Make sense ?
Cheers
Tim
