James, next to the real ST seat is a really good replica, made in the early nineties, should be comfortable enough for the run to Sicily

apart from the factory ducktail the rear bumper is interesting as it is all metal. Normally bumpers that have been flared out to the wide arches would have to have been welded, these are unusual in that they are pressed, some suspect it may actually be a factory prototype RSR/ST bumper. Gib found them in the early nineties on a Canadian race car. Its these bits that gave him the idea to do it as the prototype RSR that ran in the 72/73 Targa Florio

That's the one, my model's on its way from Minichamps as we speak!



You can see why I've been at the painters today talking about re-doing the bonnet, if you look closely you can see the stripe on the scuttle in front of the windscreen, they had a problem with the bonnet in practice and changed it for a spare with a different paint scheme, could have been from the winning no 8 car

Absolutely awesome Mike I'm over the moon for you, that is a superb car. Knowing your attention to detail though this is going to be an incredible car
