All - had a phone call fron Volksworld today - apparently demand for clubs spots has increased and the amount of area available has been reduced, upshot is that no space for DDK/914's at the moment.
The nice lady is confirming with all the other clubs booked in if they are still going but doesn't look good.....
Will keep you updated

Not good!
Obviously our last 3 years attendance and the numerous comments from visitors to the stand about how nice it is to see some Porsches in attendance holds no worth.
I will enquire further about this but won't bust a gut - if they can't find space for us then they can't!
I suppose that not including Classic Porsche coverage in the magazine does put us at a distinct disadvantage when something is oversubscribed.
A real shame but c'est la vie - bizarrely Volksworld always has a large amount of members joining - more than Porsche shows - there does seem to be a demand.

Regardless of what happens I'm guessing a few of you will be visiting independently?
If so let's make sure we meet up and for anyone out on Saturday evening The Bear beckons!

So there is no DDK space then..?
I moved my trip to Oz for this.. even having to turn down work because I moved the dates. That is really anoying. If this is the case of no DDK cars.
I mean not being funny once you have seen one rusty Beetle you've seen them all......
Surely the DDK stand has been a good attraction for the Volksworld show and the mag? Any one know if Richy King can have his arm twisted.. to put a word in..

Guys,
I know there's been tremendous pressure on the space at the show - the KG owners club are being squeezed also (and that's a VW)! How about we set up shop in the carpark? I'm happy to turn up early to mark out an area and it's actually a better spot as it gets the sun?
We can't give up that easily....
Cheers,
Steve
