awesome Luke, keep me in mind for the next trip...I have my car back and really want to enjoy some time at the track again. Oct 2/3 I will be running it at the Bitburg Autocross. :)

Like the DIY bra . . . . . if you roll cling film around the front of the bonnet loads of times you get the same effect (and probably easier to take off). Only takes a few seconds to do - looks just as stupid . . but at least you can get up close and personal without worrying too much about chips.

Hoping to go to the ring this weekend . . . as a passenger mind you. Been there in my 71 T and agree with Luke . . it's mind boggling.

Yes, I've managed to hitch a ride in either a GT3 or 996 Turbo Cabrio (didn't know they made such a thing), with a guy called Glenn (yes, he owns both . . . nice decision to have to make). . . tank of petrol and £40 towards the hotel.

Taking in Spa, Reims and the Ring.

They seem to think they'll but getting on the circuit at Spa . . . when I went I managed to get through the barriers, get my front tyres on the circuit only to realise there was a motor bike race taking place  . Think they stopped the race  . . . I wasn't the only one trying to get on mind you.

For sale

1971 911T. 24K genuine miles, original, matching number etc, etc. Never raced or rallied. Asking £70K ono.

The Ring in a GT3 was fab.

We got her up to 192mph (with a little more to come) on the way down . . . safely I might add.

The Ring in a B reg BMW CSI is also interesting . . in fact is was a scream . . . loved it.
