Yes Wayne, quite correct, September 23rd 1973 at Mosport Canada, 914/6 driven by Egbert 'Eppie' Wietzes. It was after Jody Scheckter and Francois Cevert had a coming together on lap 32. It created great confusion as the pace car picked up Howden Ganley as the leader, many protests followed, eventually Peter Revson in his NcLaren Ford was declared the winner.

You are very generous and measured with your pictures Graham, thank you.
I’ll fill in the blanks - that was before I took actual flight and ended up here

Lucky I didn’t roll to be fair. Going backwards up the bank ripped off the front bumper, cracked the rear, damaged the silencer, did a radiator, chassis brace and possibly knocked something out of whack suspension wise as it looks a bit Bambi. Not ideal, but it will go again

Here are a couple of screen grabs from a spectator video. It is quite a sharp kink (though does not look it) and I am flat there where most aren’t. But you need to be inch perfect and I wasn’t - dropped a wheel on entry and as soon as I turned in I was a passenger - 80-85 mph at that point

I've been off on the other side in the Lola some 14 years ago but for very different reasons but got away with it far lighter than you did.
Hard part of the hill Cedar Straight which is anything but straight. Used to go (just about) flat through there in my Impreza but certainly not in the Lola.
Hope the fixes are quick to implement Wayne.

Cheers Mark - all good. Have some bits on order, should be out for Porsches at Prescott next month unless I find anything too untoward

A rare sight. Note the badges, note the steering wheel location on each...
