Hi Rich,
Turned out to be a relatively straight forward swap to Beetle hand brake. I have also worked out a way of using the Porsche hand brake. All works well know. Also have a working brake at the pedal so moving along nicely.

Morning Rich,
Kinda disappointing finish to last week. I hoped to pick up the seats freshly powder coated and then listen to the engine running. So started with seats not ready and when I got to the garage late followed by talking too much the battery was flat and no time to charge it up;
Click below, hope the link works:
Work and Christmas may mean it will be another week or two
cheers

Happy New Year,
Some updates of my fat arse, apologies for the phone quality pics
A layer of fine tissue has been applied over the top of the GRP panel joints in a diagonal patern. Filler over to blend shape. For now just a coat of primer/ lacquer to make water tight. Most likely will IVA test, run car, in this look until everything is complete.

Rich,
As recommended I found a 105mm truck fuel cap which can be locked also made of stainless steel. The escutcheon slides over the key hole and guess would meet the IVA curved edge requirements.
Thanks for the idea

I have been watching this Intermeccanica 3.6ltr flat six build for sometime and think is just awesome. Huge power, huge wheel and huge arse, will be so much fun. Think it would look better with bumpers rather than overrides. These are the first pictures on its wheels
Another fat arse
