Would you consider either hiring out, or selling this tool?, as I need to alter the torsion bar holes on my car.

Unfortunately, its not a tool as such just something I cobbled together from things around the workshop, one of which is my heavy duty 36mm socket, So I'm afraid I can't loan it out.

Sorry
Jon

No worries Jon.
If you weren't so far away I would have brought the car in for you to do the job.

No can do - I lived through the 70s It's taken me 40 years to be able to wear brown again, I've got some way to go before I can like it on a car.

Like I said elsewhere maybe it's an age thing

I thinks it's a beauty, both cars are. I've been searching for an affordable sepia car for over 12m and now expanding search.....retro colours at brill.

Thanks for the kind words - I don't want to highjack this superb thread and will open one for my very brown car. Meanwhile I am still very eager to hear more about the fitment of the Group4wheels 10*15 at the rear: do you need spacers to clear the calipers? How "tight"? Thanks!

I can't answer your questions yet I'm afraid as I haven't finished the rear suspension or had the car on its wheels yet.

I'm expecting it to fit with the factory turbo rear spacer.

Watch this space.

Ok thanks - I will follow your updates closely!

Edit:
If my memory serves me correctly, the 10*15 Campagnolo were only offered with a fixed and very big offset (circa ET -12). If that is true for your wheels as well, there will be no room for the OEM 28mm rear spacer, only a very small one at best. Hence my question about whether the wheel would accommodate the calipers without spacer... All of this is only true for standard rear fenders, your superb RSR variant might accommodate wider wheels.
Good luck!
Mathieu

Ever optimistic I fitted this today

Image

However I'm sure there should be something in here?

Image

And I'm not sure these wheels will last the distance to France and back!

And it might be a bit uncomfortable...

It'll be reet.

You've not got to the 2:00am finishes stage yet - plenty of time

So a few weeks (Months!) back I started to get the interior done, starting with some very sad looking Recaro Rallye II seats.

Image

Well they came out OK I think. In Black Connolly Bull Hide and Porsche Lime Green Tartan (a 914 material)

And of course Heated Seats are a must in this day and age
