I know I know but I've hardly anytime next week to do anything and we get back to Hull I have 3 hours to get home and get on a plane to Spain....this time I need to be organised!

I'm really looking forward to Baden Baden ... never been before but heard good things

Plenty of stuff to do

Pack the following :

Swimming stuff if you want to go to the Spa

Jacket & Tie , shoes etc if you want to go to the Casino

There are no plans for a group meals etc in Baden Baden, so it will nice to stroll into the town & find a suitable restaurant / bar on both the Fri & sat night

On the Satursday, there is the option of going for the DDK drive out on some the best roads in the black forest ( 85 mile s approx back lunch time so we can then all go to the oldtimer show .. ...... OR for those that want to chill out & stay at the hotel there is the Spa & the faberge Museum.

On the evening , if anyone wants to go to the famous Casino, remember to bring a jacket & tie

Booking confirmations have all gone out in the post today Keep an eye out for an email too.

We've now planned things around the oldtimer event ... so the itinerey that has been sent out isn't quite correct ... new plans are to have an earlier & shorter drive with the aim of being back for lunch. Cars are on display until 7pm then there is music etc ... all this is within a nice walk of the hotel ( give you chance to work up an appetite )

I will either plan to meet you guys somewhere on the shorter drive, or just meet you at the Hotel.

..don't get too excited about the hotels though Brian has stayed in both on his recent recce and reckons they are fine.... but don't expect old style luxury .. think more germanic travel lodge .... the one thing they both have is plenty of safe parking and a bar

I've stayed in the Golden leaf in Zuffenhausen before & genuinely can't remember a thing about it .. obviously made an impression on me !

Just had the email - looks great!

Says you need a Green Card though.....but you don't. Not law in any of the countries we are going through.
