Full day in the workshop today. I've been refitting carpets etc and going to put the seats in shortly
A few updates on the way
Popped this on and very pleased
An old solid spoke 370mm Momo with nice smooth leather and patina
Fuchs horn push as detailed earlier in the thread
Solid look hub
And having some fun along the way!

Cheers Chris, just a few finishing bits left.
Talbot Berlin to fit, a paste based flat and polish and a few little paint bits and I think we're there ( for the time being!)
I appreciate it won't be to many people's taste but I suppose that's kind of what the whole outlaw/hot rod thing is all about - doing what you want!

Couldn't agree more. We are the maverick Porsche club afterall. Looks great Thomas.

Cheers guys. Looking forward to those last little bits to be complete and then give it a run or two before POB

Seats look very cool. Looks like youve smashed the POB deadline. I hope your suitcase contents match the car!

Very nice, like that look. Steering wheel previously fitted to a SAAB?
Cheers

Yes, a Saab! As you know hunting down older 370mm Momos isn't easy but if you look off the beaten track there are some good wheels to be had. My want was basically a 370mm Momo with smooth leather - ideally with solid spokes.
I was going to sand it down and remove the three outlines on the spokes and respray in sating black but now fitted I quite like them.

Talbot Berlin now on, I was pleased with this purchase. Just the right amount of patina.
Cibie covers painted body colour, never dug them when black
Out of the workshop for some fresh air - just very last finishing bits and we are there
