Castle Combe in the late 70’s. It was built by Steve Carr at Autofarm, and passed through several hands. I think on that day it was driven by the late Trevor Messett. I’m pretty sure that it’s John Lock standing beside it, with his 2.7RS just in front.
Cheers

My new 968 Sport.
My God, they handle sooo well.
Driving around the lanes yesterday, I remembered partly why I sold my last one about eleven years ago - because I drove it like a hooligan everywhere, and needed to slow down

I shouldn’t like that, but think I actually do….

I think it is the rake of the windscreen that does it

I feel the same – I drove one just like that out in Belgium. I expected it to suffer terrible scuttle shake, but it didn't as it had been beefed up in all the right places. Even looked good with the hood up.

Without doubt tranaxle Porsches, out handle 911s all day.My restored and slightly uprated (suspension) series 1 924 turbo,im sure would have beaten a 9111sc around the track.I hammered the granny out of it,and it stuck to the road like stuff to a blanket. On turns where a 911,would begin to get twitchy,it instilled confidence, and was totally unflustered. Now I regret selling it.

The wheels look great, which particular type are these? Look similar to 944 ones. I may be wrong
