I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.
It was a great night with perfect weather. I managed to warm the oil through quite thoroughly on the way home . Great car Chris, very high quality finish. Rob, you far may not look it but what a great start point, a journey you are going to enjoy. Good luck finding someone to take on the Targa Deano

You are pointing straight at my car...
(I thought the 'curated' parking was very lazy last night)

You will be aware of the 914/cayman project in Derbyshire which is all over social media just now but a prototype has yet to appear. It has attractive flares but when I enquired about a retro-fit front and rear wing body kit to an existing 914 was told it isn’t possible. Some years ago I saw a black 914 with flares for sale in the USA very close to the Canadian border and I’m wondering if that car you posted is the same one. I’m sure it was on Pelican but I’ll have a trawl back. Does it have a 6 cylinder engine?
I’m wondering if you or anyone else recognise those flares? I’d really like to do something similar with mine.
Regards
Mike

They were done as a one-off by the owner – it is a 'six conversion'. He says it was built some years ago, so quite possibly the same car. Apart from the bonnet badge and side repeaters, I like it (even the wheels, I have to say...).
I wonder how you go about doing that in steel………. As a one-off.
I do like it.

Mike

I think there are people who make many body panels in house. Off the top of my head you could try Steve Cato in King's Lynn. He might be able to fabricate somehing for you. I've a hunch they fabricate panels. Not sure of lead time or cost.
