Time for those seats backs to go blue...

And there we have it. Mexico blue and a perfect match to the car.

So I packed them into the back of the car and took them off for reassembly.

All done.

The other plastic parts were also prepped for paint.

These are the lower front bumper corners.

Wow! Such a gorgeous colour.

Well, they are painted now.
And if that isn't correct, don't worry, it'll soon get forgotten about when I paint those lovely seat backs....

They stopped anodising them when the 3.2 was introduced.

I went to look at a 993 yesterday as a result and the pedal offset is the same as the 964. I couldn't get on with that offset so bang goes the 993 option
Off to the 996 thread for me though they are all such bloody boring colours/interiors

Thanks. That is pretty much my goal. Not so sure about 'new' though.
I do know what you mean, I think of a 993 as a modern car. But it is 23 years old. None of the fittings come undone easily. Try undoing a nut that's been untouched for nearly a quarter of a century.
I spoke with a young lady about the restoration earlier today. When I told her when the car was made she said "that's before I was born"....
