I haven't tracked down any of the original owners no! Not really my bag that kind of genealogy

I am taking my 968cs up to Historit in Bicester, then continuing with a Friend in his 2 litre 69 car to Tuthills, so it will be quite a Porsche day all told

More photos next week hopefully.. Tuthills seem to have lost their camera and not sure smartphones have made it to Wardington yet ...

I have asked them to get me some Singer style dual colour side decals made... They use the Mercedes gp team decal man...can make anything...not sure if it will work or not but the ask is exactly as the dark grey Singer... Lighter grey and red PORSCHE side and engine lid decals

Will see what it looks like!

Looks awesome, only thing I'd change is that chequer plate passenger foot board. Don't you normally see that screwed on 4x4 body panels. :)

Not much to do beyond windscreen and wheels

Dials and final wiring awaiting fitting

Dash will be finished in basket weave. Always good to give the passenger something to brace against when on a "hot one" !

Looks fantastic. I know what Nige is saying about the checker plate, but I think this carries it off. Car is awesome

Was your choice of colour influenced by their workshop walls, Dan? Or did they have surplus paint after spraying your car?

The hole in the dash for the hazard light switch looks far too big. Apart from that I guess it's ok. :-)

Totally love this.

My favourite car on here in a long time.

Just about nailed the coffin shut on plans for my car.

Looks f****** awesome Dan!

Great looking car and will be very good to hear how it goes. I saw it at Tuthill's a little while back and the finish was beautiful.

Cool car!
The force is strong in this one ......
