It's real - just can't find the other pictures! It's got houndstooth seat and tank strap, too... I'll keep looking.

I like the use of leather as a finish rather than the usual paint.

Nassau Speed Week meetings ran in the Bahamas from 1954 to 1966. In 1955 550 number 69 driven by Ed Crawford won the 2 litre race and took class wins in the Governor's & Nassau Trophy races. Ed went on to a works drive at Le Mans 1957 where, having run in 6th place at the halfway mark, his crankshaft failed in the 24th hour. The yellow nosed Carrera Speedster entered by Jan Brundage - son of BRUMOS and Formula Vee founder Hubert Brundage - was the first Carrera Speedster to race outside of Europe and was side-swiped by Phil Hill in a Ferrari in the Governor's Trophy race

15 year old Ricardo Rodriguez won his class in the Memorial & Nassau Trophy races in 1957

Just fitted Dan Gurney race wheels to my 356. Sadly I was unable to get my original wheels re-chromed.

Not a bad alternative though, looks 'full of summer' picture to me.
