I'd love to know, as you know I have a TF connection that needs a trip......wherever it is, it's a very long way from Isleworth in a Split Sceen van with a trailer on the back! It is the Dickie Stoop rig, on the AFN works van. W

De Udy / de Klerk Carrera 6 entered by Porsche Cars of Great Britain (A.F.N Ltd) 1966 in the prototype class as it was brand new and hadn't been road registered. Crashed early on in the

Some more history here:

"Jurgen Barth, in his capacity as specialist Porsche historian............" Hmmmmmm

Actually, in this case he is probably quite correct....and not Dickie Stoops rig, as I suggested, though I think it was Dickie's trailer!
Well thats some interesting and jumbled history on 101 and 129,101 was owned by afn,de udy owned 129,but de udy raced 101 with de klerk as well as 129,I have a copy of invoice when afn sold 101 In 67 to a gentleman in Moreton-in-marsh who hillclimbed it at prescott etc, then sold to the usa, where much of the car deterated to the need of a full rebuild at Freisinger, who own the old factory chassis jigs etc.Great cars both in irish green again,as de udy had his painted the same livery as his lola t70,grand bahama racing team colours!

I guess the gentleman in Morteon in Marsh was Gerry Tyack. He also drag raced the (or another) 906 at Santa Pod (I have photos of him with the car there).

His son Edward still competes in a beautiful Ginetta/BMW sports racing car.
